The School to School Support Partnership has been developed as a result of the consultation with schools in February 2015 and is the driver in developing a school led self- improvement system for Suffolk schools.
The “partnership” is now the recognised route for schools to support each other and the development of the governance module is the second stage in ensuring that leadership and management in any school is working beyond their own to develop their practice and share strengths with other schools. This is the direction of travel for a school led self- improvement system.
The School to School Support Partnership is part of the school improvement strategy for Suffolk schools.
Sharing Good Practice
Sharing what has worked is really important to developing practice across schools. If your governing body has been faced with a challenge that you have successfully overcome, or over a period of time your school has been strengthened by strong leadership and governance, we would like to hear from you.
Initially, you can complete the Case Study form and we will contact you; alternatively just get in touch through the contact button at the bottom of the page. We will triangulate your case study with evidence from a range of sources, such as minutes, policies and data measures, so that you can be confident that your example and the examples on the website are evidence-based.
These are the ten Teaching Schools: ConnectED, Debenham High (Mid Suffolk), Encompass (Hartismere School) Farlingaye & Kesgrave, Springfield Junior School, Primary East, Suffolk Borders, The Lark, West Ipswich and Cambridge & Suffolk (CASSA), together with the Bury Schools Partnership, the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, the SWISS Partnership, SASH, SCITT, SPHA and the Local Authority, including Schools’ Choice. This does not exclude any other partnerships that would like to be involved and we would like to hear from you if you feel that you have a contribution to make.
This group is the strategy group for the School to School Support Partnership, which focuses on providing school to school support options, CPD and Teacher Training.
