We have developed our programme as follows:
- The Headteacher supports a number of schools through her accreditation as a National Leader of Education (NLE) and the school as a National Support School (NSS);
- In turn, this produces revenue which is ring-fenced for CPD within the school;
- All HLTAs are trained in specific areas of intervention and support, including ‘Success at Arithmetic', 'Achievement for All’, number intervention and PE etc.;
- Capacity is built into the timetable to ensure strong mentoring and support processes, particularly for NQTs. In turn, these staff then support other NQTs, and those completing QTS, from a range of providers. This broadens their own experience and helps to embed reflective practice.
